Frequently Asked Questions

How does this work?

First we set up a no obligation meeting either in person, over the phone or via email.  We will discuss your needs, project ideas, the research involved, a timeline, and how many meetings will be required.

 I will send you a simple agreement outlining the project with a quote and a request for half of the payment.  You sign the agreement and send it back to me along with your payment.

I then begin work on the project.  I will submit a first draft to you by our previously determined date.  You will review and respond in writing with any comments or corrections. 

Two rounds of revision are included in the total cost.  Any more will be billed at my hourly rate. 

Once the project is completed, I will bill you for the remaining fee.

 

Will you want samples and testimonials?

In our first meeting we will discuss the number of copies of the finished product I would like for my portfolio, and if you would like to provide a testimonial for my website. 

 

How much does this cost?

After our first meeting I will provide you with a detailed project cost, or the hourly rate.  For smaller projects please contact me for a fee schedule.  Half of the payment will be due up front, and the other half on completion of the project.

 

What if the project is cancelled?

If the project is cancelled after the copywriting phase, I am entitled to the full fee.  If the project is cancelled during the writing stage, I will charge for work completed up to that point.

 

We're located in a different country, how will this work?

Thanks to the internet, I am more than happy to conduct business via email, phone or fax.  Payments can be easily made to my Paypal account.
